Career highlights include playing with John Lee Hooker on his Grammy-winning Chill Out . Bruce spent most of '97-'98 on the road playing with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne. Since then he's focused on film scoring and sound design, producing albums for various Bay Area bands and artists, and doing his first solo album.

Only four or five of the original cast and crew of Psycho are still alive and Marli was at the heart of the most famous movie scene ever filmed week after week, seeing everything that went on. Her knowledge about the making of the classic is invaluable and has added to what was known. It is one of the most visual movies ever made and as a painter this appealed to me, just as the Zodiac’s imagery and arcane codes appealed to the cartoonist I became.

How two major motion pictures, Autofocus and Zodiac, were adapted from three of his books:
Working out of a little studio apartment across from Golden Gate Park for 30 years I found the studios coming to me. I negotiated my own deals since I was not interested so much in money, but keeping the two unsolved cases alive in the public’s mind. I was astonished at the professionalism and honesty (Yes! honesty) of the filmmakers and in the ways I was treated. In two fantastic movies I gave every assistance I could and often put in years of extra work to assure the pictures would be made, the most important part. In return the directors and writers kept their word to me on every level. It has been a thrilling and delightful experience both times. As a writer/artist I know the difference between books and movies. They have their vision of what the story should be. I completely understand.

submerged city in the Caribbean have today released the first detailed images
of some of the structural evidence they have uncovered.
